Dear Microsoft, Reda, Sue, Tamitha, Michele, Shelly, and Denise,

You made a real difference in someone’s life!  Carrie is the 44-year-old single mother of a 14-year-old daughter.  She is excited about being chosen to receive a CrimFit Adult Training Program Scholarship, and is looking forward to becoming “more fit” and feeling better about herself.  She hopes to “give back” to the Crim Fitness Foundation at some point, either financially or through volunteering.   One of Carrie’s strongest beliefs is that it’s important to “show support back to those who have supported you in hard economic times.”  She is grateful for your “generous gift” of a CrimFit Adult Training Program Scholarship, and plans to continue to stay fit long after the training program has ended in August.  Thanks to you, Carrie will have a healthy start!

Laura Ann wants to be healthy!

scholarship-Laura

Dear Fremont, Angela, Laura, and Deirdre,

Your gifts have made a real difference in someone’s life! Laura Ann is an almost 40-year-old wife and mother of 4 children, ages 16, 17, 19 and 21.  Her father passed away when he was 40, so her health has been on Laura Ann’s mind of late.  While watching the “Crim Training Program” segment on ABC 12-TV, she had a sudden self-realization.  She decided that very day she had to start being active, “to do this for me, for my health, my family–and to feel like I’ve accomplished something significant in my life.”  After signing up for the CrimFit Adult Training Scholarship Program, Laura Ann felt as if “fate” intervened when she was chosen to participate.

Laura Ann is very excited about her opportunity, and hopes to gain self-confidence, strength, and, most importantly, a newfound attitude.  She strongly believes that this experience will change the way she feels about herself and the way that she looks at her life.  She is ready for that change, and thanks to you, she has a chance to make it!

Erin is getting healthy!

scholarship-Erin
Dear Rev Tommy, Steven, Michelle, LeeAnn, Joan, Kim, and Carey,

Erin, who married her high school sweetheart, is a 29 yr. old mother of 3 children.  A graduate of the University of Michigan Flint, she has two boys, 3 and 5 yrs old and a 10-month old little girl.  She is very busy raising three children and has become concerned about her weight gain during the last several years. That concern has increased significantly since she was diagnosed with MS last December. She is looking forward to participating in the training program and feels that the extra motivation and support will help her make the changes she has dreamed about making for a number of years.  Her commitment to improving her health is very important to her, as is being healthy enough to play with her children and do activities with her family that she has not been able to do before. Erin is looking forward to making exercise part of her daily life and feels honored that she was chosen for this life-changing opportunity.

Thank you for helping Erin be healthy!

A scholarship means a lot for Harold!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Dear Bobby,

Harold is a semi-retired education consultant in Flint, MI.  He has run in several Crim Race Events in the past and has trained on his own, primarily due to scheduling conflicts and work.  Now he is looking forward to having the availability to join a more structured training schedule.

Considering his fixed income and budgetary constraints, being able to be a part of the CrimFit Adult Training Program means a lot to Harold. Being at an age where he cannot train like he used to, he is looking forward to learning more about his limitations and new techniques that will fit him.  He is excited to learn, train, and maintain! Thank you, Bobby, for your contribution to Crim that has provided Harold with a scholarship to participate in this important program!
